B2112 - Minimal Townhouse in Hackney

Description:

This reimagined Victorian stills-only townhouse balances generous volumes with quiet, contemporary refinement. Interiors by Rebecca Sicardi and architecture by Joseph Edwards pair soft minimalism with muted textures, from the sculptural cast-concrete kitchen island to the pavilion-like connection between the open-plan ground floor and the Mediterranean-planted garden. Practical spaces sit on the lower ground level, including a soft-pink, full-spec cinema room designed for enveloping calm.

Upstairs, the home blends work, rest and ritual with thoughtful detailing. The first floor features a study with a rotating 360-degree desk, a double bedroom with a bespoke fireplace, and a principal suite defined by a raised sleeping platform, freestanding bath and tactile finishes. A split-level micro-cement family bathroom offers a textured, sculptural feel, while the top floor provides a secluded loft bedroom with an ensuite tucked neatly under the eaves.

Max crew size is 20 and under. Stills only.
