C956 - West Dean cosy cottage

Description:

Tucked away in a peaceful hamlet and surrounded by rolling countryside, this beautifully restored two-bedroom, two-bathroom terraced cottage rich with history. Once part of the kitchen and dairy wing of a grand 17th-century manor house, it blends centuries-old character with contemporary comfort. Original beams, soaring ceilings and a calming neutral palette create a light and timeless feel, while modern additions such as a bespoke Shaker kitchen in duck egg blue, premium appliances, and thoughtful design details bring a sense of quiet luxury.

The cottage offers versatile living spaces perfect for filming, from its inviting open-plan kitchen and living room with wood burner, to two stylish bedrooms — a serene king-size master and a twin room with a subtle nod to vintage motorsport heritage. Outside, a private cottage garden provides a charming backdrop, with seating, a barbecue, and even an outdoor copper bath for atmospheric shots. With the South Downs and Goodwood on the doorstep, Bracken offers a secluded, quintessentially English setting ideal for both period and contemporary productions.
