Location details

Description:

Very large silvered timber clad eco house, based in the beautiful coastal location of Bosham, Chichester. Surrounded by peaceful fields, the property is just 1.5 hours out of London. There is fantastic parking on the large private driveway.

Property comprises of two buildings, which are joined together via a glass walkway which floats over water. There is also a garden cabin which overlooks the water and two outdoor dining areas, plus a wood fired hot tub and tennis court.

The incredible double-height kitchen space is cantilevered over the most stunning natural swimming pond.

The triple height atrium space overlooks the pond and the 1.5 acre plot, all beautifully landscaped. The space houses a bespoke double sweeping staircase which floats within a timber clad void and looks up to a huge skylight.

There are 4 woodburners in the property, each resting on a floating concrete shelf. The material palette is very natural, with a contemporary edge. Some of the walls have natural tonal variation and subtle matt texture, through the use of Venetian plaster. This is also used on the staircase sides, which looks incredibly beautiful and unique.

Designed by award-winning married couple: the home was recently featured on Grand Designs and has gone down in history as the best episode in the show's twenty-year history.
