Location details

Description:

Nestled at the foot of the South Downs, this magnificent country estate offers an extraordinary fusion of Tudor charm and grand Georgian architecture. The principal manor house features a striking exterior crafted from Caen stone, giving it the majestic appearance of a classic French château, while the interior centers around a traditional Tudor courtyard. Beyond the main house, the sprawling 7,000-acre estate encompasses an entire historic landscape, featuring estate villages, churches, farms, rustic barns, and quarries. Connected by an extensive network of private roads, the grounds offer a spectacular array of natural filming backdrops, from rolling South Downs landscapes and dense woodland to serene lakes, ponds, and open parkland—even boasting its own traditional pubs and an on-site brewery.

Highly experienced in hosting large-scale shoots, the estate is exceptionally well-equipped for crew logistics. Comprehensive, practical production facilities are available on-site, including dedicated unit bases, versatile production offices, green rooms, and extensive crew parking, making it a fully self-contained filming hub.
