K520 - London Fields Modern Home

Description:

Designed by RIBA award-winning architect Marcus Lee (LEEP Architects) and featured in Vogue, this detached family house in London Fields brings a mid-century Californian "Case Study House" aesthetic to Hackney. Set on a private, electronically gated plot, the exterior striking architecture pairs vertical Douglas-fir timber cladding and black-painted brick with a green sedum roof, bordered by a front garden, a south- and east-facing rear terrace, and balconies off every upstairs bedroom.

Inside, the open-plan layout spans two light-filled floors containing 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms, maximising natural light with a westerly front aspect. Production-friendly and highly accessible, the house offers secure gated access for kit loading, off-street parking, and nearby paid street parking—providing a rare combination of modern architectural scale and operational convenience in E8.
