A wonderful example of a late medieval Wealden Hall-House which formed part of the annulment settlement from Henry VIII in 1540. Dating from the late 14th century, the property underwent some alterations in the 16th and 17th Century. The gardens are inspired by Tudor planting schemes and contain many traditional plants.
