M372 - Stebbing Tudor manor house

Description:

This 16th-century Tudor manor offers a combination of authentic medieval character and a high-spec 2025 renovation. The key feature is the historic moat and bridge, providing a dramatic exterior that remains easily accessible for crews. Inside, the house retains its heavy timber framing and original inglenook fireplaces, while the open-plan kitchen and grand dining spaces provide ample room for large-scale lifestyle or period scenes. With 11 bedrooms, including a suite with a statement copper bath, the property offers a variety of high-end backdrops within a single location.

Located just an hour from London, it features a secure gated driveway for 10 cars, plus an adjacent farmyard specifically suited for heavy vehicles and technical units. The one-acre grounds include a detached games room with reclaimed church pews—ideal as an additional set or a flexible base for hair, makeup, and catering. With external power points for lighting rigs and food trucks, plus ground-floor accessible bedrooms, this is a highly practical "plug-and-play" location for film, TV, and commercial shoots.
